These ancient trees were captured over a span of 14 years by Beth Moon, a photographer based in San Francisco. The magnificent, mythical-like trees were scouted in some of the most remote locations as she traveled around the globe to capture the world’s oldest living trees.

Sixty of Beth Moon’s duotone photos were published in a book titled “Ancient Trees: Portraits Of Time.” This is only a sneak peak of some of the robust and magnificent trees Moon published in her book.
